There aren’t many things I know about parts of speech, as I can really only name what a verb, noun, and adjective are off my head. But, I guess the following things are beneficial to my writing which are conjunctions, conjunction adverbs, appositives, appositive phrases, and adverbs. A conjunction are words like but, and, or, yet, and for. Conjunction adverbs are when you combine two clauses like the word however. An appositive is when you place it next to another word or phrase to rename or identify something. An appositive phrase is when you add something to your story that helps liven the description of something, or even, making it clearer. Lastly, an adverb is a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word-group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, or degree. The usage of these things help make your writing more fluent, and make you sound more educated, even if you’re not.
